Can I use my own router with your service?

Can I use my own router with your service?

Yes you can, but it will have to be able to support VLAN tagging on the WAN port and DHCP Authentication as standard.

You will need to let us know that you want to use your own router once you've placed your order, you can do that by contacting the order desk at provisioning@gigabitnetworks.co.uk .  Once the service is installed they will let you know what VLAN you will need to use to access the service.

One thing you need to be aware of is that if you do use your own router our ability to manage and monitor the circuit is very limited so service levels and speeds cannot be guaranteed.
