I'm trying to access the BBC or another Streaming service but it says I am outside of the UK or using a VPN

If you are using a VPN you'll need to turn it off and try again.

Assuming that you're not using a VPN, this is a problem with IP address Geolocation or an incorrectly blacklisted address.

You can find out what your IP Address is by browsing to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ that will tell you what the IP Address is, what ISP it belongs to and where it is located.

If the ISP is not Gigabit Networks or the location is not in the UK then there is an issue we need to address, you'll need to contact our support team at support@gigabitnetworks.co.uk with a screenshot of your IP address details and also the URL of the service you're trying to access.

We will then report to the service provider that they have the wrong information and need to update their database.  This can take up to a week to resolve so please be patient whilst we complete the task.

If it is showing Gigabit Networks then you should in the first instance contact the streaming service and tell them that you are with Gigabit Networks in the UK but it looks as tough your IP address is Blacklisted, tell them the IP address that you found out above.

Hope this helps.
